Exports Are Not Systems
Why a file export cannot replace a living accounting system.
Exports are useful evidence fragments.
They are not the system itself.
An export usually strips away permissions, workflows, linked records, change history, attachments, reconciliation context, and the reasons the data looked the way it did at the time.
Good continuity planning respects exports without pretending they are enough.
